Our Story
As a Symphony Orchestra player for 30 years, I spent my summer months consistently playing outdoor venues. I loved the music, but I grew incredibly frustrated by the constant wind and crashing clips that turned normal page turns into a total struggle—something needed to change. Watching sheets fly off the stage during a live performance stressed everyone out, and stopping mid-song to fix them disrupted the concert's flow. I knew we needed a more flexible, reliable way to keep music secure without sacrificing the ability to turn pages quickly.
Driven to find a flexible solution, we sketched designs and pushed through several bulky, expensive prototypes before finally perfecting a compact clip system. We partnered with an expert prototype maker to move away from heavy, costly early models and instead engineered a sleek design with see-through lines and side-attaching clips. After creating 3D digital layouts and refining the molds with a manufacturer, everything came together perfectly. We created the Windwinder, a unique tool that securely attaches to stands so musicians can finally play without interruption.
